Present during November and December 2008 this bird represented the third record for Staffordshire following singles at Belvide Reservoir in 1982 and 2005.

Present from September 23rd to 26th 2007 this was the second record for both Worcestershire and Upton Warren as well as being the fourth regional record. The previous records are as follows:-

Present from June 7th to 11th 2004, this was the first record for Staffordshire and the second regional record, the first being at Coton (Warwickshire) in 1985.

This individual was the first record for the West Midlands County being present on June 19th and 20th 2004.
