The first record for both Staffordshire and the West Midlands area and only the third record for Britain, this represents one of the most outstanding birds ever to have occurred in the region. Discovered on April 1st 2005 the bird remained in the area until dusk. It was relocated in Yorkshire the following day before visiting Aberdeenshire from April 4th. |

Discovered on September 20th 2003, this was an excellent find on a small area of ground behind a housing estate where it remained for another three days. Together with an adult male earlier in the year these represented the first records for the West Midlands County since 1984. |
